As many of you know, a massive truck bomb exploded outside the CPA, right at the gate where the Chief spends much of his time. I now know why the Chief and others refer to it as the "Assassin's Gate." Fortunately, the Chief was uninjured, although it was, in the Chief's words, "very close." Unfortunately, the Chief lost some good friends, wonderful Iraqis that he has formed tight bonds with as well as others that were injured.
